The best way to mobilize, lubricate, and activate the hip flexors and big toe chain is to move in 3 directions. Moving in all 3 planes of motion provides a more complete stretch and turns on the body the way it is designed, by talking to the nervous system. Mobilizing the hip flexors and big toe joints, activating the muscles, and waking up the nervous system lets your body run at its best.
